The Harvard Business Review provides us some insights about string the right balance at work by using filters to meaningful and lasting relationships at work and finding the right balance between being to open and too reserved at work.

To strike the right balance you have to use relationship filters to protect yourself from other’s reactions while you protect your others from your reactions. There are 5 zones that we can fall into based on our filters:

Overbearing

Walled Off

Volatile

Vulnerable
